Inspiration

Let me know what work from my portfolio you connect with, what you’re envisioning for your space and what it’s inspired by. Submit the inquiry form with this information to get the conversation started. I’ll send you pricing and we can go from there!

Fine Tuning

Measure the space this painting will be for and we will discuss dimensions and orientation. For instance, if you want a portrait, landscape, square or round shaped painting. We will discuss if you want your painting framed by me, if possible, or if you prefer it unframed. We will also discuss color palette at this point: photos of your space, fabrics, wall colors, and inspiring elements of the space will be very helpful in this phase. We will also discuss a timeline for your painting, and any deadlines that may be applicable. I’ll sketch samples and digital mockups from our discussions. From here, we will agree on a direction for the final painting.

Custom Listing

Once the sketch is approved by you, I create a custom listing on my website where you will be able to apply the down payment(s). To begin the commission, a down payment of 50% of your total commission price (including applicable shipping) is required. This deposit reserves your spot on my schedule and is used to source the materials for your customized painting(s).

Progress Updates

Once I begin the commission, I send progress photos and updates along the way. This helps me work with you in real time to ensure the final painting meets the color, mood and direction you are wanting.

Final Approval + Delivery

Once your painting is finished, I will send more photos and video of it. Once it has your final stamp of approval, I will begin to prepare it for shipping or arrange for delivery. The second half of the commission payment will be due at this time, on the same custom listing used for the down payment. Once this final payment is received, your painting will be shipped! I am always happy to schedule local deliveries.

While you are not obligated to buy the painting if you decided at this point it isn’t for you, you can still use the 50% deposit as credit to apply to another painting. However, in the 15+ years I’ve been taking commissioned work, this has never happened.
