The Lodestar is a star that is used to guide the course of a ship, specifically the Pole Star or North Star. This work plays with elements of old and new, salvaging and making use of a discarded and long forgotten antique frame.
This original, hand crafted and hand painted piece of art by Daisy-Anne Dickson is permanently housed in a 36” x 32” antique gilded ornate wooden frame.
